Fundraising Event!
Purpose Social Homes is pleased to share that last week, we were invited to attend the Rotary Club Golf event with INSPIRED PARTNERSHIP LIMITED.
Our outsourcing partner, IPL has recently been working on a scheme to improve accessibility and the teaching environment in Yeovil at Fiveways School. Julian Ball, Director of IPL is a Trustee of Fiveways School which is a specialist in Communication and Interaction for children and young adults with disabilities.
Fiveways School is a Local authority-run school with approx. 100 pupils with Autism and/or learning disabilities along with some pupils with physical disabilities. The school does a fantastic job in caring for and developing their pupils. The school’s 6 Form Building and the improvement project have now been given the go-ahead to proceed. Unfortunately, the Local Authority does not have sufficient funds to cover the costs of this project. The School Trust is working with charitable organisations to raise funds to complete this project.
Rotary Club Yeovil & Yeo Vale was selected to support Fiveways School with fundraising this year and the Golf Day Event was organised on 3rd July. Funds raised were split between Fiveways School and Children’s Hospice South West.
The team was made up of Shelley Davies, Construction Director, of Purpose Social Homes, her son Logan, and Adam Dover, the son of Justin Dover, Director of IPL. The event successfully raised over £2500.
