Contractor of the Year 2023!
Purpose Social Homes is pleased to announce the Contractor of the year 2023 – “Bristol Together”. The certificate was presented by Katy Manson, Finance Director, Purpose Social Homes to Bristol Together for outstanding services provided by the whole team to deliver one of our Specialised Supported Housing projects.
BRISTOL TOGETHER COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY is a social enterprise that provides full-time jobs for ex-offenders by employing them to renovate empty properties and build new homes, in the communities where they live. Their social impact is very powerful – bringing back underutilised land in areas of acute housing need, employing recently released prisoners to do the building, dramatically reducing re-offending rates, and finally selling the finished houses to Housing Associations for affordable rented homes.
